What gets verified before a copper project is offered
Permit stage and standing at the ANM. Titleholder identity. Chain of title on every affected property. Polygon reconciliation against the georeferenced perimeter. The full count of landowners the mineral right actually crosses, and whether each is contactable. Protected and restricted overlays. Environmental licensing. Distance to grid, water and the nearest rail or port.

- Can a foreign-controlled company buy the farm above a Brazilian copper deposit?
- Generally no. Acquisition and leasing of rural land by foreign-controlled entities is restricted by statute, and that restriction has been upheld at constitutional level. Surface access is normally secured through mining easements and surface-use agreements instead.
- Do you handle joint ventures and earn-ins?
- Yes. Many copper assets in Brazil are better structured as a joint venture or earn-in than as an outright purchase, particularly where the titleholder wants to retain exposure.
